We applaud the governor signing these two (2) bills into NYS laws:  

  • Equal pay for substantially similar work for all protected categories | S.5248 Biaggi / A.8093 McMahon This law includes age, race, creed, color, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, military status, disability, predisposing genetic characteristics, familial status, marital status, domestic violence victim status, and other employees and interns protected under the New York State Human Rights Law.

  • Salary history ban for job applicants | S. 6549 Carlucci/ A.5308 Crespo This law prohibits employers from seeking salary history from applicants
