I am reaching out again on behalf of the NE Safety Committee. We need your help once again. We are calling all volunteers to help us this Saturday, August 2nd, between 4 PM and 11 PM during the Puerto Rican Festival. 

We will work with the community, RPD, City Hall, and the PR Festival to peacefully celebrate and disperse at the end of the night. We are looking to have the same results as in past years. 

We will again volunteer our time in shifts to be community ambassadors and encourage our community to celebrate safely. 

Volunteers will meet at our home base, at the Father Tracy Center at 821 North Clinton Ave. Rochester, NY 14605 to help be a presence in the neighborhood and get any early warning signs of gatherings on La Avenida. Volunteers will sign in and get assigned in pairs to walk Clinton Ave and the surrounding neighborhoods. 

All volunteers will have access to drinks and snacks and receive a t-shirt to wear to identify themselves. 

For those who have not had a chance, if you would like to contribute to help us fund supplies for the event, that would also be greatly appreciated and needed; $25, or whatever you can give, would go a long way.
